We prefer official government, standards, and first-party sources for factual claims. The calculator's formula is documented in the methodology page, while local estimates remain the user's responsibility. We do not treat historical returns or home-price growth as guaranteed forecasts.
Writing standard
Pages should answer the user's task before adding background. We use examples, tables, limitations, and FAQs when they clarify the decision. We avoid absolute buy-or-rent recommendations and label simplified or time-sensitive information.
Review and updates
Pages show a review date. Formula changes, material source updates, and corrections should be reviewed before publication. We preserve a concise explanation of what changed when the change materially affects results.
